I made a royalty-free background music pack for content creators

I created a royalty-free background music pack for videos, podcasts, reels and creator projects. It includes six mastered tracks as WAV and MP3 files

I’ve created a royalty-free background music pack for creators who need original instrumental music for videos, podcasts, reels, livestreams, tutorials and client projects — without subscriptions, ongoing royalties or stock-library blandness.

The Royalty-Free Background Music Pack for Creators Vol. 1 includes six tracks that I created, mixed and mastered myself. I originally made them for use in my own YouTube videos, and I’ve now made them available as a downloadable pack for other creators.

By purchasing the pack, you’re also supporting me directly as an independent music creator.

This is the first time I’ve made some of my own music available as a product for content creators. The idea to create the pack came about when I was looking for some royalty-free lofi music to use in my own YouTube videos. I didn’t want to pay for any subscriptions or stock library access, so I set about creating a selection of lofi tracks that I could use in my own videos. I’ve been using these tracks as background music on my YouTube channel for a while — and now I’ve decided to make them available to buy.

What’s included

• 6 mastered background music tracks
• 24-bit WAV files and 320 kbps MP3 files
• 13 minutes 59 seconds total runtime
• Lifetime royalty-free creator licence
• No subscription or ongoing royalties

The pack has a total runtime of about 14 minutes. All six tracks share a warm, laid-back feel and are designed to sit underneath spoken content, edits and visuals without overpowering them.

Track list

1. Cala Life — 02:09
2. Dusk Tones — 02:51
3. Final Call — 01:57
4. July Rain — 02:01
5. Solstice — 02:51
6. Sweet Somethings — 02:10

Who this background music pack is for

This pack is for content creators who need warm, laid-back instrumental background music that supports their content without getting in the way. It’s designed for use in content such as YouTube videos, podcasts, reels, livestreams, tutorials and vlogs.

It may be especially useful if you want original music with a simple royalty-free licence, while also supporting an independent artist (me!) directly.

It is probably not the right fit if you need dramatic trailer music, heavy club tracks or vocal-led songs. You can listen to previews of all of the tracks here.

What royalty-free means

Royalty-free does not mean copyright-free. The copyright remains with me (finalmartin / Sounds Like Martin Limited) as the original creator, but your purchase gives you a licence to use the tracks in your own creative projects. The full licence is included with the track files when you make your purchase, so refer to that for the full usage terms.

You can use the music in videos, podcasts, livestreams, reels, tutorials, client edits, presentations and small commercial projects, including monetised content. You do not need to pay ongoing royalties each time you use a track.

The main restriction is that you cannot resell, share or redistribute the audio files as standalone music. You also cannot release the tracks as your own music, claim ownership, or register them with YouTube Content ID or similar rights-management systems.

Supporting independent music

This pack is also a way to support independent music directly.

A lot of creator music comes from large anonymous libraries. I wanted to make something more personal: a small, carefully made collection of tracks from an independent producer, with files and licence terms that are ready to use in your own projects.

If you buy the pack, you’re not just getting background music for your videos, podcasts or client work — you’re supporting an independent artist and helping make future releases possible.

Final thoughts

I made this pack for creators who need simple, high-quality background music that is easy to licence and ready to use. The goal was to create something useful and practical — music that supports a project without taking over. Buying the pack is also a direct way to support an independent music artist.
